Incredimail - Intrusionmail

Followed C Net's link to get a free copy of Professor Franklin's photo effects. It comes with ' Incredimail ' attached and even though I didn't check any boxes to install it, it installed itself at lightening speed. It then has very annoying banners and messages flashing constantly. Spent a lot of time on forums etc searching how to uninstall it as it defies all the usual methods. Hope C net realise that this is happening as there are a lot of other disgruntled downloaders out there

Can you provide a link to that Download.com page please?

Also, did you use the CNET installer, or did you use the "Direct download" link?

<span id="INSERTION_MARKER">Thank you for your reply, I lost my hardcopy of Prof Franklin and asked C Net where I could obtain one for Mac. they sent ne the link and it didn't state' Mac' the download didn't open on the Mac, so I copied it onto my old laptop which is windows XP and it downloaded on the direct download. Messages came up asking to install Incredimail and I clicked the x on them all but it installed itself anyway at lightning speed. Then each time I went to explorer it opened at incredimail's page with annoying voice and bobbing banners all over.Eventually did uninstall but it was still there so I reset opening page to google and it seems to have kept it quiet. had to uninstall Proffesor Franklin too. Hope this all makes sense to you as I am not very technical. Reading the forums this Incredimail is a pain.
