General discussion

Increasing size of Mpeg filess

Dec 20, 2005 3:49AM PST

I was wondering how to change the dimentions of a mpeg file. On my camera, I put two videos, one that was half the dimentions of the others. It showed up on my camera that way, the one with only half the dimentions took up half the screen. So I was wondering how to change the size of the video.

I found it as a zip file, but I got totally confused. How do you download it and use it?

The question is...

"How do you download it and use it?"

1. I clicked on the zip file and the web browser asked me to open or save it. I saved it.

2. While on the hard disk using a file directory viewer (I might not be using Explorer) I double click on the .zip and extract the files to their new home.

3. I run the Virtual dub program and explore it's many options.

I can't offer any handholding or classes in Virtual Dub's operation. It's a documented program on it's home web site so it's a personal policy to never duplicate web content here. I'll share a solution I use and help a person over a rough patch but we need to dive in or get out and push along too.
