Incorrect BIOS and Windows RAM count

by codeine100mg / June 5, 2004 2:44 PM PDT

Both BIOS and Windows only see 128MB of RAM. I have two OCZ PC 3500 512MB Performance Series, OCZ4331024PFDC-D. It does not matter if I use one stick or both, BIOS and Windows only see 128MG of RAM. Placing them into different slots did not make any difference. I have installed all the latest drivers and patches for the motherboard and Windows. I am sure that there is enough power for the motherboard. It is a 400W power supply and BIOS showed that there is enough power for the system.

AMD 64 3200+
Chaintech VNF3-250
Windows XP Home
OCZ PC 3500 512MB *2

Check with the system maker to see if those memory sticks are supported.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
