then normally you cannot open it from there. That is where it has been deleted to.
You could 'restore' it from the Recycle Bin, but that may cause more problems than you want. You would have to find where it went to, and also if it was placed in the bin for a reason, then perhaps it is best left there for a few days to see if everything continues to work properly without it.

He restored it, found it and still cannot open it.
Thanks for all the replys.
Right click it, select "Open with", then select Notepad from the list.
Make sure that, if the list says anything like, "Always use this to open this type of file", you do not select that option.

Thanks mark it worked. Some of it was gibberish but most of it I could read.
Thanks very much for your help.

Hey Mark or anyone else,
while trying to open up that file I noticed when I clicked 'open with' i saw two programs 1 called Dummy and the other timer. I'm not sure if i've asked on here before about them.
anyway I've looked in add/remove programs, and done a search on Windows Exp but have not come up with anything...anyone ever heard of them?
thanks for the help ...
Anna
They don't ring a bell with me.
But over a long period where we all install and uninstall different programs I'm not too surprised that such things are found.
I see you searched through Windows Explorer, but have you used the Start > Search option to look for Dummy or Timer? It might be worth a quick search.
But if nothing comes up I wouldn't be too concerned.
