In The Market For an MP3 Player 2

by sparker781 / November 9, 2007 2:36 AM PST

Since my last post was closed due to having too many replies....? Anyhoo I have narrowed my choice down the to the following players:

1. good music with some videos ( Sony )
this is for music since it has good audio quality and has a good screen quality.
2. cheaper( sandisk )
the sandisk sansa view is the cheaper end because they make their own memory. it has lower audio quality bad UI(user interface) and a bad screen.
3. Features(ipod touch)
the ipod touch is the feature mp3 player with wifi music and videos. with lower quality audio
4. The Creative Zen.....

Can anyone help me buy the right one. Basically an mp3 player than can play vids. Not something I am going to do all the time but I want the option if I want.

iPod Touch

I'd pick the iPod Touch because of the compatibility with iTunes, the huge touch screen, the internet, the iTunes WiFi music store, and the cool way of navigating through your music. In my opinion there's no MP3 player that can even compete with that.

go for the sony or the creative both have good audio quality nice screens. creative has a expandable sd slot and a FM tuner over the sony. the sony has nice ear buds over the creative some other small details too like battery and such

Look at it this way: a DAP is primarily for listening to music. So why would you deprive yourself of good audio quality? I mean, sure, if you want the luxury mp3 (that does other things better than audio playback) go with the Touch. But if you want to give your ears a treat, then only the Zen and NWS come close to satisfying audiophiles.

I would go with go with the NWS. While you do sacrifice a few features and pay a bit more for dropping the Zen, the NWS is one of the very few mp3 players that comes with quality ear buds. And good sound quality is pointless if you don't have decent ear buds. It's like HDTV's. You might have HD cable or satellite, but unless you have and HDTV, you would never know it.

But if you already have good ear buds, then go with the Zen.

I dont have any earbuds. but i am just worried the screen on the nws is too small to play vids. i may end up with the zen cause it has a bigger screen. okay final decisions, The Zen for the video screen and the mp3 player or the sony one with the mp3 and great sound and okay screen where the vids might not be as sharp to watch. i have pretty much ruled out the touch only cause its a damn iphone without the phone and i have my cell that can go on the net.

thanks again

Can someone help me lean towards one or the other? I really like both mp3 players suggested but cant make my mind up. As I said its going to be more for music but want the option of watching a movie too if I decided. I think the Creative Zen is going to be my choice? It has a bigger screen than the sony.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
