I used MS Word to print labels with data from MS Excel. It's a variant of 'mail merge' (real mail merge prints to letters or e-mail, but MS Word supports labels also).

I am looking for label printing software that can print variable data from an excel spreadsheet but also has the ability to toggle between other excel docs (formatted with the same column structure) using the same label template.
I tested Zerba Designer Pro v2 and when pointing to a different excel doc or what Zebra calls a "database connection" the variable data text fields are deleted.
Application is used for cosmetic formula batching, labels with raw material name and Kg amount need to be printed for weighing technicians so they can label weighed raws for Batchers.
I appreciate any input!
