In response to recent answered question system restore

I was just reading the replies to the system restore points etc and was wondering how often should a person restore as well as when you open up the system restore how many dates hightlighted should you see on a good system (I'm referring to the calendar)
Would appreciate a response.

Just like the number of floor tiles in your home, it can vary with the size of the home, the floor tiles and if you have floor tiles.

The size of the SR (system restore) is something you can set on your machine and is a percentage of the hard disk or hard disk free space. The size of each restore can vary based on installed patches and applications.

I only use system restore when I have a problem

I create a new restore point before I update or install anything.
