Hi everyone,
I'm deeply saddened to learn that one of our CNET Forum volunteer moderators, Donna Buenaventura has passed. Many of you who may have come to know Donna through the years within this community as a moderator, can probably vouch for me that Donna had a huge heart--always willing to lend a member a helping hand when in need and always in the most pleasant and respectful manner.
My interactions with her through the years were always so pleasant. She always wrote to me in such a sweet, cheerful, and caring way which always made me wonder how I could learn from her through her kind and sweet demeanor.
I know Donna is in a wonderful place now--looking down upon us with her beautiful smile. Donna, you will be deeply missed by all who had known you. We thank you for being in our presence and you will always be remembered.
My deepest condolences to Donna's family and friends, you are in our thoughts.

As a close friend and co-worker, I can attest to the fact Donna held CNET very close to her heart. She considered it her "home".
I join with so many by saying she will missed, but never forgotten.
It's been said the measure of a life well-lived is not by how much money or possessions they accumulated, but through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind.

Thank you for posting this Lee. I remember Donna when she first appeared at Cnet in the late 90's. A different group of mods then but informative nonetheless.
I used to read her posts and found her to be increasingly helpful as the years went by. Not sure as to cause but condolences to her family.

Donna has responded to some of my questions thru the years. Reading her posts has always been informative.
Saddened to hear of the news.
Donna was certainly a pleasant and devoted member of CNET.
She gave her time and knowledge freely to others when needed.
Her expertise, help and support, always with kind words, will be sadly missed.
Please let us know if her family require any support donations that CNET and its members can contribute to.

Even though I never knew Donna personally it's sad news to hear of the passing of any of the volunteers here at CNET who give up their free time and expertise to help people.
Thank you for all you have done. Rest In Peace, Dear Donna. My sincere condolences to you and the great family you left behind. I sincerely hope they'll be fine. And I think they will.
in person. I could always count on her to get me out of tough situations when I fouled up my computer or when I had problems with computer programs. She had an uncanny ability to find multiple solutions to any problem, always exhibiting a positive attitude and never making me feel stupid for asking the simplest question.
Like all the other people who have posted here, I am going to miss Donna, who was not only a great teacher but also a great friend.
years since I had seen those pages that I forgot they were there. 
That is so sad to hear, I always enjoyed her commentaries and advice. Condolences to everyone, this is truly a very sad thing to hear, she will be greatly missed.
Always enjoyed her interesting articles, and am just posting to register my sadness of this news.
