In Powerpoint 2004 for mac, about normal view

How do i see the normal view in powerpoint 2004 for mac, like in windows, with the slide overview on the left with viewable slides?

View/Normal does it for me.

Currently slide in the large window and all the other slides in the pane to the left of that.

I can already put it in the normal view, but the slides on the left side are so tiny, there is no image and the text also appears there.
