In need of Classic Fonts

Apr 14, 2008 9:22AM PDT

Ok, so, I have been all over google with no luck. My buddy has recently purched a Mac from a guy who he works with that has been recently laid off. So there's no chance in asking him for help. So, he bought this Mac and found out there's only 3 fonts. He doesn't want any fancy ones, just the "classic" or "basic" or "orginal" or whatever you call it fonts. He has a little OCD and he wants the orginal. So, if anyone could point me to a website or anything like that so that I can get the original fonts that the Mac came with the Mac, that would be great. Or if anyone would be greatful enough to e-mail them for me, then that would be great! Thanks for helping out. Laterz.

you can get all the original fonts back on to that Mac with the aid of the OS install disk that your buddy should also have received with that machine.

It would help if the OS that machine is using were mentioned, along with the type of Mac.

But the thing is, he does not have one. He just bought it for about 300 bucks.

Depending on the version of Mac

and other things we are not privy to, your friend could stump up the cash and purchase an OS disk for that machine and have all the fonts, applications and utilities that came with the computer in the first place.

It sounds as though the previous owner trashed it anyway.

It would be worth it
