That Joker image was done by Firas Alkhateeb, a 20-year-old senior history major at the University of Illinois. That poster was before the "teabagger" movement. Alkhateeb didn't like the appointment of Emanuel, he called him "A Zionist, he takes a hard line stance against the Palestinian cause, and shows a clear anti-Muslim racism. Besides that, he is the embodiment of 'political partisanship' that Obama was supposedly going to change!"
Obama as The Joker from Dark Knight are using one -er word in place of another -er word. And if you listen to Republican criticism of Obama, they're falling all over themselves to find synonyms like "cocky" and "arrogant" for uppity. We're a long way from being post-racial, despite Chris Matthews' suggestion in his deeply embarrassing discussion of the State of the Union address, which only served to prove how much we aren't post-racial. By the way, how many of you saw Chris Matthews' post SoU address?
I'd be tempted to say "I didn't think so" but I've already lectured somebody here for that little bit of bad manners, so let's leave it unsaid.
