The machine, OS and such are details I can't find here.
How about the long round about method?

Now with the AudioCD you can let iTunes rip that.
Bob
I have a music composition in an old no-longer-sold software program called ConcertWare. The compositions are all midi files. I have been trying (unsuccessfully thus far) to burn one of the compositions to CD. Two people suggested I download iTunes, import the file into iTunes and then use an MP3 converter to convert the file and burn to a CD. However, when (in iTunes) I click on import file to library and click on my music file, nothing happens. I also tried creating a desktop shortcut to the file and dragging that into the iTunes library but, again, nothing happened. I posted a question in an Apple iTUnes-related forum but have always found that the responses I get from the CNET forums are most helpful. If anyone knows why I am not able to import my music composition into iTunes or has any other suggestions as to what I might do, I would be very appreciative!! Thanks!
