Importing Favorites from FF into IE8

by cma6 / May 15, 2010 3:42 AM PDT

I want to import favorites from FF3 file bookmarks.html
IE8 instructions: Click Favorites/Click Add a Favorite/Import & Export.
But there is no "Import and Export" button.
So how does one import Favorites?

In IE8 click the Favorites option, the one with the yellow star.

When the Favorites side bar displays, click the 'down arrow' next to where it says "Add to favorites". That will give you more options.

Nice work, Mark. MS should adopt your more specific instructions in IE8.

And I agree with you, the Favorites sidebar isn't intuitive is it, and with the instructions as written it is easy to miss it.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
