Impact SD card by Lexar Media

by jofrog / November 30, 2003 6:33 AM PST

I was in a store today and they were wanting $23.33 for an 128MB SD Card. Can anyone give me info on the IMPACT SD Card by Lexar Media?

That's a fair price for such. I paid about 47 for a 256MB noname SD card.

I bought 3 128 Impact SD cards and I haven't seen anything wrong with them. I use one for my PDA (a Sharp Zaurus), one as a Flash Drive (with a Lexar JumpDrive Trio) and the third one is for the digital camera I just bought (a Dimage Z1). I've compared them with other brands and the performance seems to be the same.

Today I purchased a Impact SD Card 128mb at Wa-Mart for $14.96. I took some pictures in my Minolta Dimage Z2 on best quality they seem ok, only time will tell.

I also bought one at WalMart for 14.95. Works fine. The only problem I'm having is getting my computer to recognize the SD card. It(computer) will read the pics from the camera's internal 8MB, but won't do the same for the card. My camera is a ZanCam VC3210. I took the card to Walgreens and was able to print the pics from it.

Impact SD Card problem with PDA

I bought a 256mb and paid $14.95. I was leary about making this purchase because the name brand cards run 2 to 3 times that price. After loading a few pics and some tunes on the card for my PDA, I started getting error messages on one of the functions. When I remove the card, the Palm works as it should remember....
"when you buy on price, you buy twice!" I will return and get a name brand.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
