"imminant hard drive failure"

Should I just buy a new hard drive for my laptop or what? I've now got 3 broken laptops and think its time to learn how to fix them. Where to start with this one and where to start learning about repair in general. What laptop repair books would anyone recommend?

Check your system DOCs....the manuals, guides, CDs,

etc. that came with your laptops. If you cannot locate them, go to the mfgs website and download them for easy, ready reference.

Acquire the necessary parts and use the video Bob suggested to make it even easier.
