Imbedded Audio?

Aug 7, 2006 3:19PM PDT

I sometimes get emails with "imbedded" music. With my Outlook Express program I can attach an audio file, but when the message is opened - The music will not play unless I then open the attachment. How do I "imbed" the audio file, so that it plays when the email message is opened?

In Outlook Express, select New Message,

then whilst in the main text area, goto the menu option Format > Background > Sound, then select the sound you want, then add the attributes of the sound

Not my business of course, but whenever I received emails with embedded sound I have deleted them at once. Probably a hang up from the old dial-up days where downloading such an email took ages, and held up any other emails I was waiting for.

Also, I found them intensely annoying, Happy
