General discussion

images not being displayed in WLMail

Can anyone tell me why images are not being displayed in my Live Mail?
Is there some action I should take to make images viewable?

Have you opened WLMail and checked Tools; Safety Options; Secuurity tab? Now look at Download Images and be sure that there is no check by "Block images ...." and that there is a check by "Show images .....". Click OK.

Thanx - All the correct boxes are ticked or unticked as is the case.
I appear to be able to get images if I go to HTML mail but not in Plain Text.
Does that thro any light on it..?

I've done the suggested "fix" 10 times; it does not work.
Plan B, anyone!
And does anyone know 1) why it doesn't work and 2) what causes this?
I've never experienced this before, ever - it just showed up since yesterday.
It is not making me a happy camper.
Many thanks ...
