Images don't display on the screen In Word

by nathalievvt / April 2, 2007 5:26 AM PDT

None of my images display on Print View on screen, all I see is a rectangle and I can't even change the size. But they print ok.
What can I do to make them appear again?

It's version dependent indeed, so different in 2000 (which I had before me when I wrote my above post) and 2003. gives an example of the 2003 options. There you should UNCHECK the 'picture placeholders" box. This is the explanation:
"Displays an empty box in place of each graphic in your document. Increases the speed at which you can scroll through and display a document that contains many graphics. If not pictures can always be viewed from print preview."

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
