Images and Hyperlinks in Word Forms

by borat / December 31, 2004 5:14 AM PST

I'm a newbie working on creating some form based templates based on some existing documents. So far the text-only parts have been no problem, but I need help with a couple of things:

1. I need an editable field that outputs a hyperlink
2. I need an editable field that outputs an image.

Thank you for your help!

What do you mean by, "outputs a hyperlink"?

Same for images.

What exactly are you trying to do?

To insert a hyperlink into a Word document, goto Insert > Hyperlink.

Similarly, to insert an image, goto Insert > Picture > From file.

But somehow I don't think that's what you mean.

Hey...thanks for replying despite my un-clarity...

I'm creating templates based on a couple of existing documents. One of the documents contains a couple of hyperlinks, the other contains space for an image.

For the text I have used text form fields. What I need is to create a field that works the same way as a text form field (i.e. editable after the template is locked). One field for a hyperlink, the other for an image.

I assume there are some macros involved, or maybe I'm overlooking a very simple solution.

Thanks for your help, and happy new year!
