Image Preview missing

Jun 30, 2009 8:58AM PDT

Somewhere in my cleaning up my computer I have removed the ability to have image preview work inside files. I think it might be a regedit issue, but do not know how to fix it.

Any suggestions would be great.

How so?

Could you clarify "I have removed the ability to have image preview work inside files?" Do you mean the preview traditionally shown in Windows Explorer or one displayed after opening the files? Second, is this all file types or just certain ones? Finally, have you tried clicking the Views button from within Windows Explorer to change between types and sizes of icons/thumbnails displayed? (View setting is one of the most common issues.)

Let us know.

Well, your questions have me thinking.

I am unable to see the image(jpeg) when in icon view within the folder. As well, when I click on the preview function, nothing happens. Finally, I have tried to change the file options, but that has no effect on what happens within the file.

Thanks in advance for trying to help
