Question

Image on JVC Camcorder GZ-MG27U

I have an image on my screen that I can not remove and when I called JVC they had no clue and suggested I send my camera in for repair. Does anyone know how to remove it. It looks like a big black spider with a web across all screens

Given only that much detail, my guess

This is only a guess. It sounds like a cracked LCD. To remove it should require a trip to the repair facility.

This unit showed up in 2006 so given what repairs run, I'd shop for a replacement then ebay this one.

Defiantly not cracked

Definitely not cracked and is an image as if it was added for say Halloween . I tried to upload an image but it wouldn't let me from my ipad. I'll try once on my laptop

Then do a factory reset or any reset noted in manuals.

The defaults should be without effects.

Tried both resets

I tried both resets and nothing happens. I did the one using. Paper clip, it cycled off then back on and also through the one through the menu. When I did the one through the menu and press execute nothing happens

Then it most likely

Has to go to their service center. I'm not there to explore all menus and I don't have this one in reach either.
