Image banner in XHTML?

Nov 19, 2008 10:56PM PST

I would like to have a image at the top of my webpage that is a banner. So that when the page or window is resized the width and/or hight also adjusts to verging window sizes. Normal code would look like

<img src="destination_of_image.gif" width=100% height=50 alt="Your HTML Image" border="0" />

How do I make it a banner?
