At what point, in what area, and for what purpose?

If you are using a scanner, many scanning progams I have seen already have that feature.

If it is to be used for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) then any good OCR program will ignore any slight skewing anyway.

In reply to: Autostraighten?

I am scanning old high school yearbooks to put online. The software I hane will only do "autostraighten" on black/white images, not color.

Then use manualstraighten.

It may be pricey, but that's part of the deal.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
