I found this imac on ebay
REFURBISHED IMAC APPLE POWERFUL 4.0GHZ 1TB 8GB CORE 2 DUO 20" EL CAPITAN DVDRW
I'm rubbish with technology and I want to buy this for my son who wants a quick pc an his laptop window is too slow
Do you think this is a good one to use for gaming , video ect
the price is £500
Please advice me

Nope.

Core2Duo is very dated. It''s overpriced by a few hundred as I look at other CORE 2 DUO models.

For not much, let's check out your laptop. I can speed many up by maxing out the RAM and installing a SSD.
