Question

iMac running 10.6 OS won't recognize Panasonic PV-GS250

Jul 2, 2011 10:52AM PDT

Looking for suggestions on how to get my new iMac running OS 10.6 to recognize and download video via USB connection from my Panasonic PV GS250 camcorder. Panasonic does not offer any updated drivers via their web support page. Tried using both iMovie and image capture utility. iMac just does not recognize that the camera is connected.

I had to use the DV or Firewire connection. Do we really need to repeat that?

pv-gs250 and iMovie with mac 10.6

I have connected the 4 pin to the 9 pin to an 800 adapter for my power book; iMove recognizes the camera but not controlling the play and record, rewind, etc... haven't yet found the solution. This specific camera is not listed as being supported by iMovie. Is here a work around??
