Such parts don't last forever...
Hi,
I have an iMac os9 here, it belongs to a friend. The darn thing ejects a cd as soon as you insert it. It doesn't even look like ( or sound like ) it's trying to read the disk. Any ideas?

Thanks, I thought about doing that but the iMac is one of those all integrated units. Im almost afraid to take it apart
Just FYI, these drives are all over Ebay for under 20 bucks.
