Question

I'm ready to dump my Chromebook, so where do I go from here?

Oct 8, 2018 9:35PM PDT

My ACER R11 Chromebook hardware is great, but ChromeOS has been a frustrating experience. The fact that the SDMC files are not accessible by the Android Apps, the frequent lockups requiring a reboot, or just getting it to share files (data) with the Android tablet or windows desktop are just a few of the issues. I like the R11 laptop form but I don't want to go to another windows laptop. I have found Android to be a lot more friendly and predictable and would like to find a similar solution using pure Android. On top of my candidates is the Lenovo Yoga Book, but I don't really need a pen digitizer. So I would like to hear your suggestions.

In addition to the Pinebrook 14" being very inexpensive laptop that could host Android just the idea of sticking with Linux is an idea I hadn't considered. Thank you for the suggestion.
