Look at the details given. No PC, cards, story about the firewall, the malware you removed recently and more about the cables, etc.
Nothing was told about the parts that cause such things and what you swapped out.

Hey, I'm writing this from my laptop. My desktop is having issues with sending and recieving packets. Whenever I try to "Repair" the connection i get a message pop up and say "Failed to query TCP/IP settings of the connection. Cannot proceed." In the support tab in the network icon it says everything is unavailable.
Anyone know how I can solve this?
