Im looking at HDTVs and need help

by Mainevent24 / July 27, 2008 3:57 AM PDT

Hi Everyone,

I am looking at this beautiful 32" LCD and i need some good advice.

^^ is the TV im looking at.
It is a very new TV from sony they just came out with it in June.

I Love! the color at the bottom. and although it looks amazing the Screen portion is what is really important, and With a pricetag of $899 plus service plans, im not so sure its really worth it.
Im not very savy with the specs of these new HDTVS(which is why im asking for help) but the contrast ratio is only 9000:1.

So i need some help.
Is there other options out there?
Is this TV really worth it.
And what specs should i look at so i can be a "smart" consumer?

look around the net... I found the same tv but ALL black for $799 & $699 + free shipping & no sales tax. If you buy off you have to pay sales tax & sometimes shipping depending on tv size & if they are Not have a free shipping sale on all tv's s.

$799 + free shipping Good store, no sale tax depending where you live.

$699 free shipping, I never have bought stuff from them, so I can't say Good or bad. I don't know if they have sales tax

For a 32" seems steep. Just for fun I went to BB's website. Plenty of 37" for same money and less. Contrast ratios vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. So ones 10,000:1 could be equal to anothers 7,000:1. Why is it subjective like that? I don't know.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
