IM - Hotmail and Yahoo

2 questions:

1 - Hotmail
How do I change the setting so when I open MS Messenger and click log in, it will prompt me for a password. Right now, it defaults to my user name and when I click log in, it does not promot for a password.

2 - Yahoo
Is there a way to set an option like in MS IM to save conversations in a folder automatically?
