im 15 lookin for good reliable car

Sep 22, 2008 11:19AM PDT

im 15 im savin some money for a nice car but cheaper im lookin for a tuner mostly with awd or fwd.I AM SPENDING UNDER 10K FOR ABOUT 70000 MILES OR AROUND IT. SOMETHING FARTHER THAN A CIVIC IM LOOKIN AT RSX BUT MOST PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS. THE INTEGRA ARE NICE BUT SOME SAY IT LACKS POWER. IM LOOKIN FOR SOMETHING GOOD FOR RACING AT THE TRACK OR STREET. THE 240 SX R NICE BUT LACK POWER AND EVOS ARE WAY 2 MUCH AND 300ZX ARE RARE SO PLEASE POST GOOD RELIABLE CARS EASLY MODDED WITH GREAT POWER AND 5 OR 6 SPEED.

How about an audi
Sep 23, 2008 4:35PM PDT

You can find a 2001 audi A4 or a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. You can also look at a Toyota MR2 Spyder from 1991 to 2000 and see if you get lucky.

ummmmm

the audi a4 r nice and great quality but they dont look 2 great stock.and the 2000-2006 eclipse sorta look like a chick car no offense.

for sure i will tuneing it and trick n it out im trult interested im the 240sx 1996-1998 but i do have questions. what is the differnce between se and le but they lack some power with 155 stock? is the s14 the same as stock 240sx? and does s15 have real advantages other than t28 turbo which is small. how do uget a s15 just a engine swap? if u have any info on the 240 1996-1998 tell me i can b specs, hopefully reviews, and tricks or new cars that may fit what im looking for

300zx
Sep 25, 2008 7:44AM PDT

In my honest open, if you are looking for a 300zx, get one. It is rare but you'd be able to find one under $10k. I bought one over the summer an it's amazing. I went from a Maxima to a 300zx.

Your not going to find the perfect car for the price you want. Especially when you just want to spend 10 grand. Any car you buy will have some type of problem or will come up with one when you get it. I think you should pick the top three cars you would want and then see which one you could find at a great price that seem like its in great condition. After that you can start hooking it up, and fixing any problems.

okay

I never did like the prelude for some reason, its a turn off to me.

The third and final generation of the RX-7, FD (with FD3S for the JDM and JM1FD for the USA VIN), was an outright, no-compromise sports car by Japanese standards. It featured an aerodynamic, futuristic-looking body design (a testament to its near 11-year lifespan). The 13B-REW was the first-ever mass-produced sequential twin-turbocharger system to export from Japan, boosting power to 255 PS (188 kW/252 hp) in 1993 and finally 280 PS (206 kW/276 hp) by the time production ended in Japan in 2002.

You can get well over 400bhp with this car. And if you wanted to go all out 500bhp with nos is a demon. This is the next car i will get after i finish working on the Volvo.

Now depending where your at it will be hard to fine a 99-02 model as it was not sent here. However I seen a few in nyc so you might be able to find one for sale. The 96-98 version is what you should look for. The RX8 is the new kid on the block but the best ones are the most recent releases and the 2010 version of the RX8 will be .....HOT!!!!!

Wanna see my real dream car.

Sep 27, 2008 10:04AM PDT

a lil outof my price range and i gotta run turbo gas and has a higher compression than prelude which means a turbo would be a waste. the prelude runs 10:1 the wrx runs 11:1 dont sound like much butit is i mite just steal my sisters grand am i the winter hehehe. but its a great idea maby when im older

AWD
Sep 27, 2008 10:27AM PDT

Is good for racing. You can't drift with AWD but you don't need to. As we both live in the north I prefer AWD then anything else. You can also look at the EVO. The Sti version is a higher version of the car but I believe its out of your price range. But you can mod it to a Sti. I would recommend my car but its out of your range as well. I have no other idea on a car. So the ball is in your court now. So just pick one.

EVO
Sep 27, 2008 11:29AM PDT

THE EVO IS WAY OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE BUT NO OFFENSE BUT THERE A LIL OVER RATED AND 4DR SO IF I GO SOME WHERE ALL MY FRIENDS GOTTA COME WHICH IS TOTAL BULL BUT THE PRELUDE IS STILL KICKIN IN MY HEAD. GOOD ON INSURANCE. QUEIT. GOOD HORSEPOWER . EASLY MODDED, CHEAP PARTS AND FWD I WISH THEY MADE AWD BUT I MIGHT GET THE 2001 PRELUDE SH WITH ATTS 'SH= SUPER HANDELING' . IT LOOK PRETTY GOOD EXCEPT THE HEAD LIGHTS BUT KNOW 1 ELSE COMPLAINS SO I GUESS ITS JUST ME BUT WHAT CAN I SAY YA KNO. ANY MORE OPTIONS HOLLA AT. CLEVELAND STREET TEAM!!! WHERE U LIVE

PRELUDE????

Then why not a civic or accord?

civic look bad
Sep 27, 2008 2:40PM PDT

civic look bad when stock and im doin performance before looks keep it a nice sleepper but im worried about road noise its like 5 out of 10 on reviews . but the 99 eclipse is 3and there really no 2 bad. the civics dont got much power and accord a lil expensive and look like crap stock...... but much better on gas , but plan 2 turbo so if premium is for prelude it doesnt really matter that the first thing im buying but ill see what i finddddd WHERE U LIV the prelude looks good stock and haas 205 hp 157 ft torque 24 28 mpg on prem but like i said i plan 2 turbo and it has 10 to 1 compression ratio that perfect 4 t 30 at 15 psi boost ; )
