iLO Mp3 Players

Aug 30, 2005 2:45AM PDT

I have a problem with my iLO player. I bought it at Wal*Mart. It's 256 MB. I have discovered that it has been rebranded once or twice. I have an 128 MB SD expandable memory card in it.

The problem: I bought my player several months ago. It was fine for about a three months. Then something happened, and the power button jammed or something. So, it wouldn't turn on. I went to Wal*Mart and explained the problem. They were very helpful and allowed me to exchange it.

The new one worked fine for about a month. Then, one day it just wouldn't work anymore. I took it back to Wal*Mart, asked if I was doing anything wrong. As it turned out, I had been placing the player on top of my stereo system *slaps herself for being so stupid* and the electronics guy said that the stereo had probably de-magnetized it, sucking all the power out of it. However, once again, Wal*Mart was kind enough to allow me to exchange it (despite the fact that the problem was my fault).

I have had this player for not even a week now. The SD card is in. I use AAA Duracell batteries in it. It has stopped and will not turn on.

In the past, there have been times when my players have stopped for a little while and refused to be powered on. But they always did eventually turn on. Has anyone else experienced this problem with iLO mp3 players? If so, is there a way to fix it? Thank you for your help.

ilo mp3 players

Hello,

The ilo mp3 player is garbage. I bought one for my son and within 3-4 months the headphone jack went bad and only the right channel would play. It also is very difficult to turn on, it seems as though the power button isn't making solid contact with the microswitch. Others have had the same problem with the headphone jack. I would suggest returning it for a refund if that is still an option.
