Illustrator 10 problems - jpeg disappeared

I'm working on Mac G4 and I have been able to Export my Illustrator 10 files as jpeg files and suddenly the other day when I was going to do the same, I have no option to save it as a jpeg. Can anyone tell me why and what happened and most of all, what I can do about it??
