Question

IF you ran your household like DJT is running the country?

Aug 22, 2019 1:28PM PDT

How much longer would you be living there?

WHO will pick up YOUR tab? Your grandkids?.....Some stranger? Pass the buck?...Is this disguised "socialism"?

Don't like paying for others in the here and now......NO problem passing the buck to future generations?

The guy that went bankrupt more than once for living beyond HIS means now has America living beyond it's means.

Budget Deficit on Path to Surpass $1 Trillion Under Trump Budget Deficit on Path to Surpass $1 Trillion Under Trump

WASHINGTON — The federal budget deficit is growing faster than expected as President Trump’s spending and tax cut policies force the United States to borrow increasing sums of money.

The deficit — the gap between what the government takes in through taxes and other sources of revenue and what it spends — will reach $960 billion for the 2019 fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30. That gap will widen to $1 trillion for the 2020 fiscal year, the Congressional Budget Office said in updated forecasts released on Wednesday.

The updated projections show deficits rising — and damage from Mr. Trump’s tariffs mounting — faster than the office had previously predicted. In May, the budget office said it expected a deficit of $896 billion for 2019 and $892 billion for 2020.

So you voted for change
Aug 22, 2019 2:04PM PDT

and change brought you "more of the same"?

Or maybe YOU didn't support him....

Just as some didn't complain about Obama...you won't complain about Trump?

Resistance is futile?  Just learn to roll with the punches?

How do you like living on a merry-go round?

Or perhaps living head down with your shoulder to the wheel and nose on the grindstone?

Change comes gradually

and change brought you "more of the same"?

Of course, for awhile. When a new president takes office, just like when Obama took office, it takes time for changes to happen. I've seen more change though in first year with this president than the former.

Or maybe YOU didn't support him....

Not at first. I like what he's doing, maybe not always the way he gets it done. Considering the constant attacks from all sides and govt resistance by criminalized intelligence agencies, I think he's doing superb in overcoming all such attacks against him.

Just as some didn't complain about Obama...you won't complain about Trump?

As you know, I didn't say much at all concerning Obama in his first couple years, because it wasn't too clear what he'd do or not do, and my biggest objections to him after 2 years were the national debt increase and more later when appointing Hillary as Secretary of State.

Resistance is futile? Just learn to roll with the punches?
How do you like living on a merry-go round?

It is futile between elections, no matter which side you support, unless you make false accusations of criminality like has been done constantly against Trump, appointees, and members of his cabinet. Twitter is the merry-go-round, so get off it, and maybe your outlook on it all will improve. DC may be a swamp, but Twitter is a cesspool, and CNN the overflow pond for it.

Or perhaps living head down with your shoulder to the wheel and nose on the grindstone?

Make proper investments in life, don't try to live beyond your means, and problems gradually fade away toward security and contentment.

Biggest objection? Main factor in your objection?

And after 2 years under DJT the national debt is still increasing...yet you don't complain about him?..In fact you "like what he is doing".

Obama was doing it to you, and DJT is doing it to someone else?

One for all and all for one?

BO inherited an economy going down hill.
He spent a lot of money to reverse that.

The Don inherited an economy going up hill.

So it's tough to compare the two.

The Don has his priorities and a balanced budget does not seem to be one of them.

Not true.....that 'uphill' economy was fabricated by BO's Fed Reserve dumping $85B PER MONTH into Wall Street to make it APPEAR to be doing better. Trump's economy is based on ACTUAL numbers.

85B per month
Aug 23, 2019 5:36PM PDT

That was done to help the banks get back on their feet and to keep the economy moving up.

When the banks became stable it was phased out.

So the Don inherited an economy going up hill.

As usual, you find excuses

without the actual facts to support them.

The banks got on their feet alright....to the point that they became even bigger by taking over smaller banks all over the country, including small town banks that didn't get any bailouts.
Bailing out the banks and auto industries were totally SEPARATE from the additional $85B per month that WALL STREET was getting, and many huge corporations under BO, who claimed publicly to have disdain for them, became enormously MORE wealthy than they were. That money was specifically targeted to Wall Street to make the economy appear to be stronger that it was because the employment numbers and the GDP numbers were atrocious and stayed that way under BO.....remember, HE kept saying that 2% growth was our 'new normal'?

As for the $85B being 'phased' out...provide proof because it was ONLY stopped after TRUMP took office and HE stopped it or it would have kept going with the HILL.

Trump inherited a financial disaster that BO tried to put lipstick on and failed miserably at.

specifically targeted to Wall Street to make the economy appear to be stronger

Wall Street as a standard?

Isn't Wall Street one of the factors that TheRUMP points to when bragging about how well he thinks the economy is going?

And that has WHAT to do
Aug 24, 2019 2:38PM PDT

with the conversation? Trump STOPS dumping $85B per month into Wall Street and it STILL increased WITHOUT that BO crap that was phony. Trump's economy indicators are REAL and not MANUFACTURED like BO's were.

Crap was phony, AND DJT will reap the rewards of the affect of the phony crap?

"the phony crap" didn't happen?

"phony crap" is DJT's friend?

Please explain how you know AFTER something DID happen that what happened had NO affect on the present.

Shouldn't your claim be ...It STILL increased even WITH the phony crap.

OR maybe you should say.....It WOULD have increased WITHOUT that BO crap that was phony.

I recall
Aug 24, 2019 10:32PM PDT

Seeing a market chart a while back that showed the last 6 months of BO's term feeding into the first year of DJT's term.

The slope of the market rise did not change.

It kind of says at least DJT did not screw it up.

As for the $85B being 'phased' out...provide proof because it was ONLY stopped after TRUMP took office

Is this the 85 b story you wanted proof of?...phased out/slimmed down?

Please note the date of the story...2010...LONG BEFORE TheRUMP was POTUS.

Obama signs first jobs bill

The bill is a slimmed down version of an $85 billion bipartisan measure crafted by the Senate Finance Committee last month.

IF this is NOT the 85 B you are referring to...PLEASE provide a link showing exactly when DJT stopped the 85B deal. It's always nice to be on the same page when discussing something. Then we can have a further discussion.

OR maybe I won't hear from you again in this thread...OR you will respond without a "link".

As for your 'slimmed down version' story....that's in ADDITION to the per month money.

I can no longer find the link to the story that I saw more than two years ago regarding Trump stopping the $85B per month dump and am not going back through multiple search pages to find it since the only $85B story hitting the first five I've gone through are about the Trump DOJ nixing the ATT/Time Warner deal. If you care to dig for it, be my guest.

I can no longer find the link to the story that I saw more than two years ago regarding Trump stopping the $85B per month dump

Because the 85 B was "slimmed down" in 2013.

So you have no proof of the claim you make, and you ask others to provide proof of their claim.....

RE: more than two years ago

6 years ago...in 2013?

RE: If you care to dig for it, be my guest.

I've already looked and can't find anything that proves YOUR claim.....everything I've found does not agree with your claim AND I have provided a link in a previous post.....

Whether I can find the link
Aug 25, 2019 12:26PM PDT

to where Trump stopped it is irrelevant to your incorrect statement stating that the BO $85B per month is the SAME 'slimmed down' monies and link that you provided never says what you state as fact. They are TWO distinct and SEPARATE sums of money. Your link states that it's a 'slimmed down VERSION' of what was and continued to be in place throughout BO's terms. It was an ADDITIONAL program that nothing to do with the first one. IF you can prove otherwise, let me know....otherwise, you know what you can do with your 'facts' trying to prove me wrong. But like you say....I doubt if you'll be able to do it.

You can't have looked at 'everything', because it happened, YES, TWO PLUS YEARS ago when Trump took office and the story wasn't carried by the liberal news. It was reported, I believe, by Breitbart or Fox....both Conservative news sources, but wasn't archived evidently so a search even at their sites turns up nothing for me and obviously the liberal search engines, even if they have it, has it so far back in their pages that it's nearly impossible to locate now. Too bad.....

Good night, George.

There IS a difference....AND as you have said on numerous occasions...I'm not doing YOUR research.

Have you checked the Tea Baggers website...or are they out of business now?
