Good grief
Mar 18, 2016 6:13AM PDT

Based on that, you are assuming that Trump would remain.....

An honest question now....and hopefully an honest response. Can Trump actually be worse than what we've had with BO and HC coming right behind him? You (I'm assuming right now) have seen BO's record only make things worse than they were before he took office (including especially his foreign affairs policies), so I ask, can Trump be a better negotiator with those who hate us than BO and his cronies have been?

Honesty time
Mar 18, 2016 6:23AM PDT

yes i really think.. trump's foreign policies will hurt america worse than those of BO and HC.
Those who hate us, will continue to hate us.. all we want for them is to be unarmed.. negotiating for peace.. the middle east is burning.. trump cannot bring peace to the area.. an subsequently to america.. i am not saying that BO did any good... or that HC will be any better.. but to choose the best of wost.. i'd place my trust in HC before trump

That's unfortunate
Mar 18, 2016 7:39AM PDT

and I don't mean that in any derogatory manner at all....

Looking back on her past with negotiating with terrorist countries, including Russia in that, and the fact that she initiated (her words) the deal with Iran, and has supported (literally) condemning Israel over Hamas at every turn, and her decisions to help in the fall of Egypt and Libya, I have to say that I prefer to have someone in office who actually knows how to negotiate and get results rather than lying rhetoric.

Thank you for your point of view, even if I disagree with it.

Trump's not even the Republican candidate yet, AND
Mar 18, 2016 7:48AM PDT
He's already spreading the love

IT WAS all going so well, but the budding bromance between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US hopeful Donald Trump appears to have soured already.

Trump’s willingness to stir up anti-Russian and even anti-Chinese sentiment among Americans is not going unnoticed in these countries, who have started to turn against the Republican frontrunner.

While the Kremlin was once generally more positive about Trump than the other presidential candidates, this was turned around after the billionaire released a pre-election video that it says demonised Russia.

“I saw this clip. I do not know for sure if (President) Vladimir Putin saw it. (But) our attitude is negative,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a teleconference with reporters this week.

the White House will be renamed the trump house and United States of America will be renamed Trump States of America.

that would be funny if...
Mar 18, 2016 8:20AM PDT

...he put a big TRUMP sign on the White House. More likely he'd buy and personally outfit a new helicopter to officially use as President and have it called TRUMP #1. You'd see it every time he was landing on the White House lawn. All the new White House dinnerware would have "Trumpware" label on them. They would have Trump wine bottles at state dinners.

He could all dignitaries up
Mar 18, 2016 8:54AM PDT

at his new Trump hotel being built right across the street in the old Post Office building........and point to all the new jobs he created with it along with the tax revenue from it.

Maybe he could finally get diplomats to pay up all their past due traffic tickets, too........it's in the billions already.

- Collapse -
I would impound their cars
Mar 18, 2016 10:08AM PDT

and if unpaid, sell them off to pay the tickets. The people might have diplomatic immunity, but not the property when not in the embassy proper, that would be my stance on it. Pay the ticket or have the car impounded till it's paid. Diplomats can use the sidewalks too, just like the streets, start walking.

Diplomats can use the sidewalks too, just like the streets, start walking.

They could hire people to carry them...that would also help create jobs. The Chinese delegation could use rickshaws.... There are also horse drawn carriages in NY.

There may be some problems having the UN in NY...BUT there are also some benefits....The world is coming to you instead of you going to the world.

Sounds pretty anti-climate change to me
Mar 18, 2016 11:30AM PDT

One plane (ours) going into one country at a time vs 100+/- all coming here at one time........all that carbon emission entering our country instead of theirs sounds pretty 'free trade' to me (hint....we lose again)

When you're "the boss"
Mar 18, 2016 12:17PM PDT

and you haul an employee up on the carpet...you do it in your office not at their workstation.

Go to the principals office.

one plane going to 100 countries = 100

100 planes going to 1 country =100

Bookkeeping 101/basic math

NOW you're concerned about carbon emissions?

Don't let the coal miners know your concerns.

I'm not the one
Mar 18, 2016 12:56PM PDT

pushing climate change regulations....liberals do, but never complain about Air Force One, all those security SUVs in caravan style, movie stars using their own planes, all those 'world' meetings everywhere with hundreds of planes and caravans converging in one place, etc. Hypocrites all.....

As for your 'economics 101', one plane going to 100 countries ONE AT A TIME every couple of months does not equal 100+/- planes and caravans hitting ONE country ALL AT ONCE every couple of months. That's a lot of carbon emission raining down in one spot....but why should a 'climate change' leader worry about polluting somewhere he can't regulate and make money from it?

I'm not the one pushing climate change regulations.

You are, in this thread...I didn't bring it up FIRST.

one plane going to 100 countries ONE AT A TIME every couple of months does not equal 100+/- planes and caravans hitting ONE country ALL AT ONCE every couple of months

ONE AT A TIME...that's how most planes takeoff...unless

100 * 1 = 100 no matter how you try and spin it.

IF you think carbon emissions ONLY stay where they are "created" you're more naive than I thought.

Again FINALLY a liberal who admits
Mar 18, 2016 2:12PM PDT

that 'controlling' climate change thru regulations and fines in THIS country is a waste of time and money because carbon emissions from OTHER countries actually DRIFT somewhere else.

We're making progress.

I don't believe in the climate change crap....weather changes every day and PEOPLE have nothing to do with it. Did cavemen discovering fire in a cave cause the end of the ice age? Have we caused the El Nino winds to blow or have they done so for centuries? What about the deserts and the sand dunes....did people do that to a country that used to be tropical? Not hardly.

- Collapse -
tend to agree
Mar 18, 2016 3:37PM PDT

There has been global warming since the ice age.

It is a fact of nature the ice melts - even when below freezing and the sun is shining. The more the ice melts, the warmer it is going to get and the ice is going to melt even faster. It is a cycle.

Look at the Sahara Desert. It once was lush and populated. Now look at it. Did man do that???? Then there was a mii ice age during medieval times.

The world is getting warmer at this point in time, as it has done in the past. The cold will be back. maybe not this year, maybe not this decade, maybe not even in this century but it will be back.

The reality is, I am not going to change anyones mind, and nobody is going to change mine.

oops, I forgot this is a thread about Mussolini...err I mean trump. Ever noticed how some of trumps profiles look like mussolini's.
