Question

If my GPU software says RGB color is possible can I use it?

Sep 14, 2015 4:57PM PDT

It gives me sRGB, RGB, and 2 other options, if it is displaying these in the 'change resolution' tab in the Nvidia control panel does that mean that my monitor can definitely use it? It lets me have 2560x1440 res @ 60Hz with 32-bit color and the options above. The reason I ask is because I was not aware that my monitor had the RGB ability but maybe they just forgot to list it on the site?

But let's be clear here. LCDs today are best used at "native resolution." But since you left out details, so far my answer is no.

is that "component" connection. You have that on the monitor and the computer video card?

the components are connected through dual link ports

The monitor is connected to the GPU by a dual link connection. It has thunderbolt, HDMI, and others to but I thought this was the best one to use. Was that what you were asking, sorry I wasn't sure.
