It seems as though the Windows 10 "upgrade" process may not install all the files correctly, or maybe they're damaged, or maybe something else, but running Chkdsk has fixed quite a few of these minor glitches. Try running Chkdsk in "repair" mode to find any damaged files and correct them. Start by opening a command prompt as an admin. RIGHT click on the Start button, choose "Command Prompt (Admin). (Or type "Command" in the search line, then RIGHT click on the "Command Prompt" listing at the top, choose "Run as admin".) Once there, type chkdsk /f /r /x, leaving the appropriate spaces between the letters as shown, then press the Enter key. You should see a note that it can't be run till a restart is done, type "Y" for yes, then press the Enter key again. Close the command prompt and restart the computer. Chkdsk will run upon restart and will take quite a while to finish.. Don't panic when the progress bar stays at 10% for a long time. It's fairly normal and the Chkdsk process may take a couple of hours.
When it's finished, it will boot to your normal startup/lock screen and you can login normally and then see if things are working correctly again.
Hope this helps.

Good Day everyone! I hope someone can help me. My laptop is Asus x556uf with win10 as OS. Here is a little background:
My laptop wont boot unless I press anykey which irritates me most of the time. Upon searching the web I found out that the solution is simply to reset the BIOS to default which what I did. Everything works fine after I restart, the problem no longer occured. However, my laptop keyboard stop working. Ive tried the following but none seems worked for me:
1. I went to device manager to uninstall the keyboard and scan for hardware changes. Tried to update the software aswell.
2. I tried to reset the bios again. Tweak on some settings but nothing worked.
3. Tried to enter to safe mode and do the no. 1 but nothing happen.
I believe this is a software issue since my laptop keyboard works fine on BIOS and in safe mode.
I hope someone can help me.
Thank you very much.
**Update**
Update 1:
Upon checking my laptop again Ive found out that keyboard works fine during a normal start up (pressing the power button) however, during restart the keyboard will no longer work. Thus, if I have to install something I need to turn off and on the laptop for it to work.
Update 2:
Someone suggest to update my bios to its latest version then do the nos. 1, 2 and 3. However, none seems work, my keyboard still dont work after a restart.
My last option is to reset with keep my files as an option but I dont know if it will solved my problem.
