If I'm running a Mac OS x v10.4.8, Will that work with

a wireless printer that support Mac OS v 4.5 or 4.6.

Yes. At least it should. In a few rare occasions minor point releases break things, but it is rare. So typically so long as you're running any 10.4.x release, and x is higher than the number stated, you're good. Though you really should go all the way up to 10.4.11 unless you have a very good reason not to.
