Question

If I got ripped off online what are my options?

Apr 23, 2016 6:25PM PDT

I purchased a large order online from a distributor I have delt with before with no problems. WWW.visorworld.com I do embroidery and have ordered from them before with no problems. This was a large order (over $1,000) and was due to be at my home 5 days ago. I have emailed several times asking for a tracking number with no luck. Today I went to there site to get there phone number. When I first viewed the site (around 3pm) I got there phone number 908 355 9969 and have tried to call with no luck. I returned to the site and now the site is for sale??? There original site is completely gone. Anyone have any ideas? I have also already wrote the BBB. But surprise they are not BBB accredited.

Phone number on numerous sites as scammer.

You could contact the attorney general's office in New Jersey, but they may not even be there, you can get area codes on phones that aren't even where you are truly located.

https://who.is/whois/visitorworld.com says their domain expired on April 20,2016, just 4 days ago. So it seems they are out of business.

All you can do: ask the company that registered the domain if they have the owners contact information. It's a Canadian company, located in Vancouver: http://www.alpinedomains.com.
I doubt if they will give it without an official Canadian warrant. Then it's time to call your lawyer.
