iecontlc.dll

I was looking around on my computer and ran across this file. Can someone tell me what it's for. I am running win xp with updates, on a toshiba laptop. I would appreciate all the help you can give me on this file. Thanks Missie

A Number Of Ways To Find That Information

First, are you SURE you've actually got those files and if so, where are they?? Did you find them listed in the System Information section.. If so, newer operating systems no longer have them and it's a mistake by Microsoft to continue listing them..

More importantly, why are you concerned about it? What are you trying to fix?

If you've actually got those files...To find info about them, try RIGHT clicking on the file, choose "Properties".. It should help.. ( I don't have that file on this machine to give you such info although reading the various searches indicates that they are not required files on Windows XP SP1 and SP2. Which operating system are you using?)

Or..., open the Google site, then do a search for the file name.. A lot of links come up.. See the link below:
