IE9 panic

Yes, I am in a panic.....I upgraded from IE8 and installed IE9 through Windows Update. It looks as if Dell has taken over, and I am looking at a wannabe MSN Home Page congratulating me on buying a new Dell. I want my old "always blank" Internet Explorer Home Page, with my favs and toolbar links, and an icon with the big "E" instead of one with a picture frame. How can I do that?

Dell Studio XPS 8100, Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit

Calmer now.....

I found Internet Options, "always blank" homepage and favs -- and now looking to see if I can get the toolbar links together. Sorry for my crazed OP -- I was quite startled at what IE looked like with Dell and MSN appearing to take over......and not prepared for the new face of IE......miki

Good job

I've always felt it's better to bang one's head against a problem first and for a long time before asking for a hand hold. You'll better remember what cured the headache that way than you will if someone provides you with the remedy.
