Try IE9's Safe Mode?
Try IE9's Reset Defaults button?
Try removing all addons?
my iep will not work. i want to uninstall it and re download it but i can not find it in the install/uninstall what does it go by ? please help

Follow Bob's advice first and if no joy then you might want to READ the information at this link and possibly make use of the Fix It tool on the page:

tried every thing nothing works. it opens shows the top bars etc but will not open any pages. how do i uninstall it and try a new one ? i do not see ie9 listed in the listings of the add/remove page.

But be aware that some addons cause this and I have to take your word you removed them and tried the safe mode and reset buttons. One member fibbed and the problems continued as they didn't remove the addon that was trouble.

i have tried everything. but i went into uninstall programs but do not see anything to do with ie9 . and where do you find restart with out adons? i no see it when ie9 is open plus i have tried Reset Defaults button. and nothing happens. but when i open my start button i see one internet explorer plus a internet explorer 64 ?
