IE7 release date

Dose anyone know when IE7 will come out of beta, I would have downloaded the beta version 2 but I have heard bad reviews.

To my knowledge there is no set date yet...they're simply playing it by ear. It will be sometime this year, likely not until September, though some speculate they'll try to rush it in April. Microsoft was ahead of schedule in releasing Beta 2, but it was premature...bug reports started rolling in just hours after the official release. Pages not displaying properly (try loading Cnet's own download.com and see how it looks ), occasional crashes, and the inability to perform a repair installation while it's installed are the major complications. It's not quite as bad as it sounds, and has been pretty stable for me (even Beta 1 wasn't all that bad), but it's not recommended you upgrade until the final release.
