IE6 SP1

Sometimes when I open Internet Explorer my home page mymsn.com opens as a blank page. I click on the refresh button and it opens OK. Just started this several days ago. Tried repair, but that did not help. Also ran IE6 setup again and that did not help either.
Athlon 800 MHz, 384Megabytes SDRAM and Windows 98SE. Any help greatly appreciated

Perhaps one or more of the twelve files listed in the article [Q281679], may be missing, damaged, or improperly registered. Add to this, the files Jscript.dll; Oleaut32.dll; Vbscript.dll; Rsabase.dll; Cachevu.dll; and Iepeers.dll. Note that the last two are not default Win98 files and may not be on your system. If one is not, you'll simply get an error that the file name is invalid -- don't worry about it. In addition if any actually register properly, it simply appears that nothing really happened.

Some of my thoughts since I would have to suppose this type anomaly could be contributed to:

a. The type connection made to the Web, with what, and the configuration there of.

b. The overall environment resources left after the system boots which could limit speed and response for any sessions started.

c. Any browser helper object which IE may load and use.

d. Whether MSN itself and the route for which you travel to it is simply not fast enough for a first rendition of the window until you click refresh.
