IE Toolbar

by phantazy / August 10, 2005 10:51 PM PDT

Sadly I still have to use IE for my E-mail from MSN. The problem that I have is that I used to be able to delete the contents of an e-mail I wished to reply to, by using the 'cut' icon ( A pair of scissors) on the tool bar. Now for some inexplicable reason this has ceased to operate. Spybot and Ad-aware found nothing. Any one able to offer some advice? Thanks.

Paul

Hi - the advice I recently got from Tufenuf, and its augmentation: find an empty space on the toolbar, right-click it, click Customize, look at the left-hand frame where it says "available.." and click on the scissors. It should do it; let me know and good luck. Amos.

Hello - Paul, you were not quite clear about the nature of the fault, I did not understand that you still had the scissors, only they were not sharp. If something like that happens in future, the first thing to do after ascertaining that there is no malware, is to delete the scissors and then reinstall them. But it's good that for now there is no problem. Amos.
