IE suddenly closes with MSVDM

I have the Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager PowerToy, and I opened one IE window on desktop 1 and two on desktop 2. After working with desktop 2's IE windows, the IE windows on desktop 1 suddenly go away without prior notice.

How can I solve this problem?

Instead of such usage, use a different browser that has Tabbed feature (I see that you have Firefox). In this case, you don't need Virtual Desktops.

PowerToys are ... not supportable.

Read the fine print about the powertoys. It's a toy.
