IE opens together with Firefox

When I click on links in email read in Outlook Windows XP opens both Firefox (my default browser) and Internet Explorer.

Besides uninstalling IE, does anyone know how I can fix this - ie I don't want IE to open.

Try reinstating the default...

Go into Set Program Access and Defaults and reset IE as the default browser, OK your way out, give it a test, and then repeat for Firefox. It's odd when both are listed as the program of choice, but that usually clears it up. If not, click here.
