IE not working but connected to internet

Jan 12, 2009 5:30PM PST

Hi, I'm pretty sure this has been asked many times.

I use Vista and my computer is connected straight to the wireless router. Every time I look at my connection on my computer, it always shows that it is connected to the internet. I also use Limewire, and that connects perfectly. But when I open up IE, its isn't able to load the web page. I even checked the ethernet cable that was connected to my computer with my laptop and I am able use the internet. Please help!

Our Spyware forums has many posts about Limewire and such failures. Please go there and use the usual tools. HOWEVER since this machine runs Limewire you can't expect it to stay fixed.

If I uninstall limewire, would that make a difference?

Here's why. You didn't tell if you went to the Spyware forum and used the usual tools.
