Hi, recently experience a really frustrating problem. My homepage was changed automatically from the website i want to this C:secure32.html. It showed an advertisment for some spyware company warning me that my computer had spyware and could be controled from without and etc and had links to their website to buy their products. No matter what i did to try to change the homepage back to the original, even resetting my web settings, everytime i opened internet explorer, it will revert back to c:secure32.html...

I'm about to pull our my hair... pls help....

You apparently do have spyware...

There are numerous companies out there that will infect your computer with a piece of spyware that advertises a product that will remove the spyware. It's like a doctor who makes you sick so that he can charge to cure you. If nothing else your hompage has been hijacked, with a very good chance of other spyware being active on your computer. I'd suggest clicking here and choosing a few anti-malware utilities. You should be running one firewall and one antivirus, as well as at least one antispyware application. For some free options, check out Avast antivirus, ZoneAlarm firewall, Microsoft Antispyware, SpyBot Search & Destroy, and AdAware. You should keep them all updated and running, and perform a scan with each one once a wekk. Also, it's a good idea to run a few free online scans now, and once a month, for a second opinion. I'd suggest TrendMicro HouseCall as the free antivirus scan and Webroot's free online spyware scan.

Hope this helps,
John
