IE "hangs" on startup...

Feb 13, 2009 1:49AM PST

On my desktop, I've noticed recently that IE "hangs" on startup to the point where I have to do the Ctrl-Al-Delete to cancel the program. Then, EVERY time I restart IE, it comes right up. This morning I noticed that it is happening on my wife's computer also and she has to do the same bailout procedure.

I'm running Vista Ultimate and she's running XP Home. Perhaps if either of us had enough patience, the program would eventually load. I'm wondering if it might be caused by our anti-virus program (AVG). However, Firefox doesn't have this problem.

Anyone else notice this?
